May 15, 2012 - one of the best Music Videos possibly ever captured. if i was betting i'd say it wasn't more than 2-3000$ (post production) which is amazing.
1000$ of that was for the "eyes" in "bugging out" too :P
May 14, 2012 - Why are force fed the commercial hip hop? Cause it pays! true artist like these are what today needs. A message, listening to this makes me miss true hip hop. I'am happy that here Australia we have great local MC's Hilltop hoods, Simplex, Drapht, TerraFirma all are quite lyrical and you feel the need to go out and buy, clothes, car, and women. You just enjoy the art of the M.C.
May 13, 2012 - Now this song is so relaxing. iWould drive through Downtown Dallas at Night & watch the buildings light up while playing this song. It has a relaxing yet grooving vibe to it. Im glad my brother got me into this & I'm thankful for that because todays music is FULL OF CRAP. Now im in love with A Tribe Called Quest. They're the greatest!
May 13, 2012 - I loved rap videos way better when they were like this, instead of booties, ho's, cars, and money flying everywhere.....just follow em as they walk and do their hand gestures.
May 10, 2012 - Im not saying that using samples is wrong, because they only add to the effectiveness of the song as a whole, but samples are mostly used now to cover up the bad lyrics.
May 10, 2012 - WTF, this video is two samples. I love this song but your logic is flawed. For instance on the Jazz portion of the song there are three samples. The bass loop, the drum break, and the saxophone that goes in and out. Now the lyrics here are simple but effective so I agree with your statement in that respect. Tribe was never really big, just big enough to have lasting impact.
