May 25, 2012 - On it's own, there is nothing wrong with 00. But it is not a Sci Fi anymore. I thought a major part of Gundam was removed and I didn't like it. Also without that realistic style of narrations; the suffering of characters, the whole aliens thing didn't impact me at all. For example. The transformation of Graham to "Mr.Bushido" makes little sense. The mask thing was very forced. The aliens fighting was not interesting at all. The sucide clones just doesn't make sense.

May 24, 2012 - I don't hate 00, I just thought the second season and the movie was pretentious and whatever emotional attachment was lost because of that. I dislike it not because it was different (like I said, I like G Gundam), but because it abandon traditions that makes it Gundam and IMO made a lot of things worst. Gundam was a Sci Fi, the new ones are not. When the genre is changed, that's no longer an evolution, but something completely different. The Gundam head is the only thing left.

May 24, 2012 - I like the UC as much as the next gundam fan but things change and evolve 00 showed people suffering from war but more importantly showed how humanity as a whole can rise up and correct its mistakes it had depth and the action scenes enhanced it. UC is good but you cant hate something just because its different than the original in fact most people hated seed because it was 0079 rip off

May 24, 2012 - I liked 00 for the first seaon, the second and the movie was back to the silly action scenes. I think X was the last one which still honors the spirit of the original. I never viewed G Gundam as a Gundam series, and it didn't try to be. Which is why I enjoyed it a lot and why I couldn't with the new ones. I felt like they are trying to replace UC with the new ones that are awfully shallow.

May 23, 2012 - A successful business does not equal a great series. Maybe for the company making them, but not for the fans. To the newcomers, the new series are awesome shows, to me, it was a butchering. I don't care if people liked it, but for those who believe a Gundam locking on to 1000 MS and then disabling all of them is even remotely close to what Gundam is, they are horribly wrong.

May 23, 2012 - Seed is very successful serving as a marketing method to bring Gundam to everyone.(at least it bring a lot people around me to watch gundam series) And I believe Age was supposed to marketing Gundam to younger viewers, tho it sucks.

May 22, 2012 - AGE wouldn't had gotten this many hate from UC fans had it not been name "Gundam". Because it is nothing like UC Gundam, and Sunrise have been ruining the series since Seed, and personally since Wing / X. But at least Wing and X carried over themes from the original, Seed, 00, AGE had none of that.
