May 3, 2011 - honestly I think they should still try to expand to 16. It makes perfect sense since the original Pac 8 can be one division(the Pacific division) and you can add 4 more teams(BYU, Texas Tech, Texas, and some other MWC team) and move Arizona and ASU over to that division and call it the Mountain Division. Since AZ and ASU once played BYU and Utah, it would renew rivalries. Texas and Texas Tech would move once the Big XII falls apart from the SEC adding OU, Okla St., and Texas A&M.

Mar 29, 2011 - I don't buy the fact that MWC teams don't get the recruits as the big boys. TCU was obviously better then Wisconsin and it had everything to do with the talent on both teams. TCU had better recruits. Utah had better recruits then the team they beat in 2003 with Urban Meyer, etc. Being the Pac 12 is not going to make a difference for a 4 or 5 star recruit. They won't wanna play in Mormon country anyways.
