He believes in some sort of higher being without his image being clouded by what religions makes "god" out to be. & I don't think believing in a "god" necessarily means you believe in an afterlife. I'm not gonna say I believe or don't believe in a "god" but if I died and went to heaven I'd say "cool" and if I died and was just a corpse in the ground, well then I'd just be dead. I think a little faith is good for anybody as long as they don't go overboard.
