May 25, 2012 - I never mentioned religion in my statement (if i did somewhere then sorry because that was definitely not my intentions) Im not a religious person Cannibalex, I don't even agree with religion personally. (esp. Christianity ..just my opinion) I think it keeps us ignorant in a lot of ways.
I'm simply a person who believes that there is some form of a higher being (some call him/her/it God, Allah or etc.) and anyone who chooses not to accept that then to each his own. It's a free country.
May 25, 2012 - the complete opposite actually. atheists are pro science. aeroplanes come from scientific and industrial research + production. religion is detrimental to human development when it governs our countries. have faith in what you believe, but war, violent racism and child molestation 'in the name of god' is absolutely holding back progress for the human race.
May 3, 2012 - Is a narcissist's suicide a crime of passion? And if someone with multiple personalities threaten to kill themselves, would it be considered a hostage situation? So many questions, so many bridges to cross - or jump off. I have no quibble with suicide; it's like saying to God " you can't fire me, I quit.
May 1, 2012 - why do people kill themself by jumping of it? they jump into water.. i no water is like hitting concrete from a high enough height but surely that isn't high enough?
Apr 30, 2012 - Just seen this documentary.. was pretty disturbing and shocking... its really sad to see this happen, i could only feel for those who did this.. :*(
RIP!
Apr 30, 2012 - What the fuck has the world come too! How can you film a person in desperate need of help for over a hour and do nothing but press record? You sick fuckers I hope your pathetic excuse for a documentary haunts you for the rest of your life....
Apr 25, 2012 - Just to be CLEAR @StrawbsShadow ....I completely got what you were saying. And you know what, I don't think it was that those Scientist (...not all of them anyway) didn't necessarily believe in God per se but maybe they just didn't share the same idea/philosophy (i.e. Pie in the sky or Heaven in the clouds) that is a common belief amongst most people .....accredited to our wonderful Pastors/Priests :)
But I say find your own 'Meaning' & 'Idea' and don't be soo compliant to accept someone Else's
Apr 25, 2012 - I do see the point that you are trying to make however I personally do not agree with you for 2 reasons:
1) I'm pretty sure that there were just as many scientist who did in fact believe that there was a God (e.g. Carl G. Jung) & 2) if I agree with you that would completely misconstrue the context of what I was saying & the point behind it.
'In my opinion' to think/believe that this world which we exist in just 'HAPPENED by sheer accident' from 'NOTHING' is preposterous
BUT to each his own.
Apr 25, 2012 - To be fair, it is usually people of science who chant things about God not existing, and they were the minority who did believe planes would fly... Regardless of what the church was saying.
Apr 24, 2012 - I bet these 'God doesn't exist' chanting folks are the same types of people who were chanting back in the 19th centuries that 'Planes would never fly' ...but I wonder what those people are saying now because long and behold we now have over 93,000 Flights worldwide daily.
There are people who will always need to 'see' a thing in order to believe it to be true and there are those who simply have faith that this unseen thing does (in fact) exist and i believe those are the pioneers of the world.
Apr 24, 2012 - "Sorry" you are indeed my poor friend because if you had any ounce of intelligence (or should i say common sense rather) you would have picked mines (sarcasm) up from the very beginning of this brief correspondence.
Truth is this: I could care less what you believe 'exist' or doesn't ...because it doesn't change the fact that what has always 'been' will always 'be' ....long after you, me & every other living thing that exist in this universe is dead & gone.
We have freewill to believe whatever
Apr 23, 2012 - Well that's interesting you say that because I just got finished speaking with God a few minutes ago and he told me that all you needed was a hug so here's one. *hugs* :)
Apr 12, 2012 - This film is brilliant. It only shows the families and friends affected by the persons who committed suicide. I felt it was lacking something from maybe, people who had been there and escaped their suicidal intentions. One of the people had lived to tell the tale, but i felt he wasnt at a point where he could express himself about it in a universal way of understanding.
