I would rather be sitting there anticipating the next goal, while still enjoying nice hits, moves and saves by the goalie. Apr 15, 2012 - hockey requires a lot more skill than basketball, hockey you need a bigger skillset to play then basketball which you can only be good if your 6 foot whatever, and plus basketball is the worst when it comes to giving calls to their star players. the only reason why hockey is not popular in the US is because US players dont dominate the league like they do in Football, Baseball and Basketball.
