May 4, 2012 - that just is not true.It does matter. On the rare occation Blackmore's Night plays in this country and I have gone to see them, durring Ritchie's quiet acoustic guitar instumentals, the audience hoots, whistles, and shouts out.It is quite annoying,When you watch a dvd from a live German concert, you can hear a pin drop in the audience until the end of the song

May 2, 2012 - I think everyone would listen like they do, if only there was still music like this...

May 1, 2012 - Figure there's a chance real musicians visit pages like this. Love some thoughts on 6 year old self taught drummer JAXON SMITH. Just click U2RUSHFAN below and comment on any video you watch. A little background on JAX. Born at 1 pound, never had a lesson, no one in his family drums, he HATES TO PRACTICE so when he does lay down a video it's often the first take and good luck getting him to do a second take. With Jax just press play and it flows out of him. Should I get him lessons???

Apr 30, 2012 - A woman in the audience last week told Greg during Q&A that she wanted all of us to get up and dance. I just stared at her incredulously (and with some contempt). GET UP AND DANCE? I didn't even want to MOVE! I was entranced with what he was doing on that stage. Why can't we just sit, be silent and LISTEN TO THE MUSIC? Just like this audience was doing? As someone said, they must be European because most American audiences wouldn't have this kind of respect.

pedro20sousa Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - This one and "From The Beginning" are the best ones from Greg Lake, in my opinion

castle431 Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - This is MUSIC! Gregg has a great voice and is a incredible guitar player.I play guitar and sing and play out sometimes, and I find his songs are the hardest to cover. what talent! There just seems to be nothing like this anymore. The audience is completely silent until the end of the song.It must be a European audience.I hate to say it,but an American audience wouldn't be this quiet.

trippysocks Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - Well, it's his guitar strap...

Apr 24, 2012 - Excuse me as I go and cry in a little corner and lose all faith of ever being able to become a good musician.

Mar 28, 2012 - I hate to know that no one has original talent these days. This is real music at it's best! Have you heard a voice like this lately? Everyone sounds the same these days and nothing like this by a long shot! I hate to think that the original music from the 70's is gonna go away. Play this stuff for your kids and grandchildren! We try to educate ours. Stop the music about killing and sex!

Mar 9, 2012 - At the age of only 21, that guy had already co-founded 2 legendary groups of prog rock: King Crimson and ELP. I think we can say he has TALENT !!!

stenwald Says:

Mar 9, 2012 - Greg Lake - such a sublime voice.

3bethlehem Says:

Mar 9, 2012 - such a beautiful voice...such a baby face, but we were all baby faces in those days.

Tremblay343 Says:

Mar 8, 2012 - I never said it was a dumb ballad. I said because it was a Ballad the audience is more subdued. There are lots of ELP songs where the crowd is absolutely nuts. And I meant to say at Classic rock concerts, so if you forgo the "not" in my last post it makes sense. Also I have been to plenty modern jazz concerts where this is very much the mood while plenty of heavy metal converts where the opposite is true. And just because someone is screaming doesn't make the music crap.

yakhiba Says:

Mar 8, 2012 - Oh! You're wrong. This is not just a dumb ballad! It got parts of classical guitar! Anyhow, I just put this comment here after watching almost 10 EL&P videos and having being in one of their concerts when they came to my country and even in those heavy or rythmical themes there´s no stupid screams. Can even any modern balladist sing a tune like this in a silence, devotional expectation like this? Surely the answer is NO! Why? This is MUSIC. ART... Not shit. I'm sure you will agree..
