Dec 9, 2010 - It has the same focus issues like all the other Canon DSLR's that can shoot video. You can manually focus and you can focus using the different automatic modes in live view. I personally use AF quick to prefocus my shots and manually focus thereafter. It is a challenge sometimes but you get used to the process.

Sep 13, 2010 - No, there is no sound level display during recording. Just like the 5D Mark II sound level, the display goes away when you are in Live View for recording.

Sep 5, 2010 - Exactly. Most of the whiners waited for a cheaper camera with 7D specs but they dont realize that 7D was the new 50D already. I mean look at the size of 7D and compare it to 50D... they are exactly same size. Canon changed their EOS line when 7D was released. IF 60D was same size with 50D and magnesium body etc. it would eat the sales of 7D cause then they would be almost identical. Canon is not stupid. They wanna sale cameras, and they succeeded cause i am buying the 60D.

Sep 5, 2010 - from my point of view, most of the negativity towards the 60D is due to the fact that it's no longer magnesium alloy body. If people get over that fact, it's actually an awesome camera.
