Apr 15, 2012 - Io penso che come Bill Evans non c'è nessun altro musicista e pianista, Attualmente nessuno lo può eguagliare: è il migliore in assoluto e chissà se altri prenderanno il sio posto un giorno! Questo è il problema della "nostra" musica...partiti i grandi..sembra che più nessuno li possa rimpiazzare. Così è per Miles Davis or Wes Montgomery e tanti altri Grandi. Un vero peccato! Mi chiedo:why (sometimes) don't you show some of the young musicians who deserve to be known? Thank you very much.
Mar 28, 2012 - Das was ich an dieser Musikrichtung mittlerweile mag ist der vermeintliche Mangel an Struktur.Jeder Protagonist spielt seine Sache,eine Kette in sich greifender Soli,aber am Ende wird es dann rund und passt in sich,fügt sich zu einem harmonischem Bild zusammen wenn man so will.

Feb 20, 2012 - It's amazing how different this rendition sounds from either of his recording of it on Explorations. He was sun an incredible artis and this part of his life was when he was at his best in my opinion.
Feb 15, 2012 - this theory is kinda true, but the thing is that great music like poetry is felt before understood, so obviously interpretation is as much a key as harmony and riffs, but the harmonies are the most important for me; they give the surprise amongst the comfort in their predictability.

Feb 4, 2012 - hmm...I´m starting to believe that other things make a song individual than his riffs&harmonies...nowadays (when so much music has been produced), it´s more the lyrics, little details, interpretation and instrumentation which make a song different from others... it´s only a theory. :D
anyways...a song sounds unique if you play it from your heart, because no one can imitate your deepest feelings and the message you give to your listeners.. <3
Feb 4, 2012 - I discovered a swing jazz riff on my guitar..almost a year later i discover something very similar when i heard django reinhardt's minor swing. Frustrating? quite so.
Feb 2, 2012 - always have the problem with basslines -.- .... isnt it possible that at somepoint in music history every good combination of rythm and melody was already played? :/ haha would be depressing
