Mar 30, 2012 - Do you have to have a special lens to get your landscape lit like that and still get the stars?

motherfluxer696969 Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - How do you get those shots in the day time? I don't understand how you can see the stars and how it's not overexposed.

Jan 2, 2012 - This makes me want to leave Florida. There's so much open space without people and light pollution is minimal.

Jan 2, 2012 - oooh i got ya, yeah i tried to do something very similar but when i put them on my computer and did the image sequence it always freezes my computer. Do you know if theres a disk that came with the t2i that i could install to help get better timelapses?

dakotalapse Says:

Jan 2, 2012 - 24fps, the exposures are 20 seconds or so, so it's not 1 photo every second. More like every 20+ seconds is one photo.

charliebaetj Says:

Nov 23, 2011 - I would guess that the shot where you see the rig come out of the house didn't work and the one you see before was another shot. Where the lights were out or very dim inside the house. But if not then I too is curious how he did it :) Very well done. Nice montage

Aug 24, 2011 - Awsome, at 0:53 you can see your other rig coming out the door of the house, id love to know how you go from a brightly lit interior to the outside low ambient light and still maintain good exposure on both??. Seriously how did you do it? iv worked with HD video cameras for ten years and that shouldn't be possible , in order to expose the house interior correctly the exterior sky should turn black, im clearly missing a trick.

Jul 20, 2011 - Jaw droppingly gorgeous but the addition of the decaying structures adds an element of real sadness. Amazing.

Jun 21, 2011 - Stunning ! ! ! Mate if you use sound format encoding settings of 44100 Hz while uploading to YouTube - then you will achieve better sound quality in 360 pix resolution. This would bring ultimate sound to mobile viewers as well. Just a share from personal experience. Brilliant piece of work. Thumbs up and all over :-) And why Science and Technology as Category ? ? Let people find out about your film making. I love this kind of stuff - only wish one day I will learn how to do it all the same way.
