Apr 19, 2012 - Yeah it shattered my world to, liopleurodon was my favourite animal. But there is just to much prove that it only grew a maximum of 7m. But you will still see books saying 25m long but there just copying other books and the other books getting the information from BBC. The largest pliosaurs is the unnamed pliosaur from aramberri and I'm sure some people around here knows the predator x which grew 15m long.

Apr 18, 2012 - Ok i know a thing or two about dinosaurs and prehistoric reptiles and i know that liopleurodon did not reach 25m long. BBC walking with dinosaurs made a mistake, the fossilized bite marks on plesiosaurs and ichthyosaurs like ophthalmosaurus where not from any species of liopleurodon. Liopleurodon reached and adult size of 7m long and liopleurodon was a pliosaur not a mosasaur.

Jan 25, 2012 - okie. i got my dinosaur encyclopedia... oh its not there... but kronosaurus and Mosasaurus are pretty tight. rounded teeth at the back of kronosauruse's powerful jaws enabled it to crunch up tough shells and crush bone. mosasauruse's large head had huge jaws up to 1.45 (5ft) long). these jaws could open up to 1 metre thanks to its peculiar jaw design.
