Nov 5, 2010 - If I ran into Ralph Towner on the street tomorrow, he would treat me like I was special, or like I was somebody important just because I listen to his music. He is the best acoustic guitarist, in my book.
Jul 10, 2009 - check towner's yahoo group. there are some tabs of this piece (that are wrong, btw, but in obvious places... easy to fix). note that the group is in italian, but you can find tons of towner transcriptions on it, so worth joining.
Nov 3, 2008 - Yeah, this cat just makes musicscapes that are amazing. Forget Jazz, Folk, Classical, he just makes music. Ralph Towner and Matther Grasso are my biggest influences right now. Check out some of my videos, I'll be putting some Towner-like tunes soon.
May 4, 2008 - Ok the guitar is nice, but enough with the Jeffrey Elliot sales pitches on these videos. The musicality of Towner, rather than the guitar, is doing the trick.
